The differences between the original magazine versions and later redraws/tank releases are significant to the point of removing or adding new characters in the story. Here Byakko is replaced by a new character who we know little about.
The redraws released so far have not furthered the story past the magazine version either.
The Italian VHS is partially uncensored, in addition to an uncensored scene from a tailer for the film. Otherwise, the fully uncensored version of Fist of the North Star 86 is lost. Though, screenshots of the uncensored version appear in a promotional pamphlet that coincided with the original Japanese theatrical release, including a shot of Shen giving Kenshiro his scars (blue tinted in all home media releases but the Italian VHS).
