Just finished watching Monster and this guy is a fucking joke. I cannot understand how people unironically say that he is one anime's best villains.
"Dude, we are like meaningless in the universe''. "Dude, nihilism". "Dude, when I was 10 I conviced a bunch of adults to kill each other because I'm very charismatic"
I've only ever seen people, possibly you, claim others claim he's a great villain.
Owen Davis
I have heard people say that he is in the level of Griffith and others.
Isaiah Jones
>I cannot understand how people unironically say that he is one anime's best villains Name another villains that can kill using candies that were conveniently sent to his room by... someone that's never mentioned, then somehow managed to poison them without ruining the package and finally his targets conveniently open the specific bag and ate the specific candies.
Christopher Ward
>I have heard people >>watches the masked man that's what you get for listening to zoomer YouTube faggots
Landon Collins
Dude, they were boomers in the 90s. Of course they were gonna pick the Werters Originals. No need to poison the rest of the candy stack.
Landon Jones
What a worthless bait. The reason this stuff looks stale to you is because it was imitated to death, not because it sucks. And I have yet to see another villain who could get another character they just met to kill themselves on screen. Even Junko Enoshima did it offscreen and had a supernatural gimmick. This guy breaks your will to live with words.
Ryder Bennett
I never got the appeal of this character either. Being edgy is not equal to be well written and interesting, or complex. Other characters from Monster were way better.
Luke Hill
Any Forums tier post, especially with the shit in quotations

Anons, what to do? Read Monster, or watch Monster? What do you reocmmend?
Wyatt Morales
You the smartest motherfucker on this this whole hellsite
Easton Cruz
Read it since it'll go quicker probably, but maybe also watch the opening and ending themes because they're pretty good and sorta subtly foreshadow some stuff in the story without spoiling it.
Jace Murphy
Got it. Thanks.

>missing the chance to see the episode where Tenma speaks German to the elder couple with them responding that they don't speak German and they're British, then Tenma switching to English to communicate with them while all the dialogue is actually in Japanese
Evan Morris
Sad that zoomies got filtered by basic stuff like this.
Jace Torres
Watch it.
Mason Davis
Hahaha, I will watch this clip after reading the chapter with exact scene.
The philosophy doesn't mater, he's a psychopath, any explanation he gives is an aspect of his delusions of grandeur. He's a monster. >Queue the title card. Wow, it's almost like he's the antagonist who provides the plot and challenge for all the other characters to react to.
Also, if it wasn't clear enough that he's just a pure psychopath, the final twist makes that very very clear, which finally resolves the question as to weather or not he can be saved. >he can't.
