I really don't understand how this foreign thingy work.
The term is actually domestic/foreign "account", but i've been purposely mistranslating it as "platform" since "account" doesn't make sense to me. Mochiko opened Mebuki a "foreign account" and in the earlier chapters they explained that "foreign account" has more access to higher leverage trading, but what does "foreign account" even mean in the first place? account for foreigners? account denominated in foreign currencies? seem unlikely since Mebuki is browsing JP website and her account is in Yen. Maybe it means account provided by Japanese branch of an overseas company (HSBC, Citibank, etc)?
Also, does Japan not have mobile banking?
