no artist really likes it, because it throws away decades of training in order to become as good as they are. That said manga artists are the least threatened by ai since is would be really difficult to have the consistecy/freedom of expressions, but normal illustrators are fucked and the market will be flooded by Ai art in the future.
For now ai is not more advanced than a photoshoper tho and is just photobash existing stuff, so no good artist is really threatened by it.
At the end people will specialize and you will have "experts on ai" art that will sell it to people even more dumpre than them that can't write the right prompts.
Either way I hate techfags so much is unreal, since instead of focusing in automating shitty collar jobs that have a fatty and old hag sit in her office for 7 hours doing her nails, the go for a hobby like drawing making the livehood of creatives (if it really works) at risk and demoralizing a lot of newfags from learning art since "ai will do it better than me, why even learn?"

I know that this is the end goal and really the day when working is not more necessary can't come fast enough, but I don't really like the fact that Ai started just from, translator jobs-transcription jobs-writing jobs-art jobs, instead of automating the work of the lady in a pubblic office that slacks all the time and make you wait 2 hours saying that you have to come backs tomorrow. Probably because is easier to train ai when you have billions of images and text files instead of finding data for a repetitive office job and sending home millions of office workers would create a lot of discomfort compared to some artfags that no one cares about.
(probably they are already some ai's that can do normal jobs, but is not a fancy tech demo like making an art piece or writing a greentext)
