From a lot of JP media in general it seems like women there are memed into the notion that they need to be extremely pure and meek or else they're huge sluts but also that they're worthless if they won't put out for whoever they're dating and they don't act like JAV actresses. It feels like a very uniform kind of insecurity that gets projected into josei work in particular where sexual repression is mixed with sexual pressure.

I dunno about christfags and the whole "madonna-whore" concept seems somewhat bullshit, but I agree with the other user that something along those lines is present in JP society to a greater extent compared to the developed west. The line that divides purity from depravity is really emphasized at least in this kind of media, and the same goes for porn. See how much of it is predicated on corrupting a chaste/pure girl.
