Ruri Dragon and the pathetic state of Shonen Jump

Unlike retarded western companies, nips understand that twitter posting does not equal tankobon sales, cute little girls don't sell in magazines made for little boys and pedophilic adult women, it's really funny Shonen Jump rejected to publish the would be blockbuster success Shingeki no Kyojin because they didn't thought it was shonen enough but now years later they are so desperate for something new that they wer willing to defy logic, also don't be retarded, One Piece is ending just like Naruto ended, someone else will take continue the franchise so both Shueshia and Toei can forever milk it just like Marvel milks Spidershit. Shonen Jump is a shit toilet paper magazine sold at loss just and that is the main reason it is popular. As for Ruri Dragon, all that is left is to be send to the graveyard where it will die quietly, together with other axed shit like Ayakashi Triangle (I'm sure SJ readers loved opening the magazine and see a literal tranny manga every time) and Chaisanwmeme. You fucking shonentards refused to have standards and now you pay the price for it, a decade from now on half of the SJ magazine will be sequels to old mangas written by nobodies about the children of the heroes nobody really gives a shit about

RIP Ruri. The manga needed to be a 2-man job: original author gets to draw the cute dragon girl while someone competent writes the story and reminds him to draw backgrounds occasionally.

Did it get axed?

Hiatus due to author's health issues, but who knows really

user nobody here would have effected what you're crying about, there are literally threads that dump the chapters page by page, if you're gonna seethe, seethe at the Japanese

No, the author just got a cold, return for a week and suddenly the cold came back even stronger, like the cold is know for, also the cold will last for at least 2 months before they announce the return in the retarded site exclusive for shit they don't believe it's worth to be in the magazine anymore.

>Shonen Jump is a shit toilet paper magazine sold at loss
1.It's cheap as fuck to produce
2.They sell more Jumps in a week than 99% of their tankobons do in a month. They sell 90% of their circulated copies, so yeah, more than a million every week.
3.Shueisha gets all the profits from a sale since mangaka royalties only apply to tanks.
Only small niche mags operate at losses.

Royaltis are irrelevant when the difference in profit is so big.

So, after all those pathetic bait attemps you made with MHA, you decided to bait with Ruri? Seriously Jeremy?

Japanese colds are like the third most deadly form of illness know to man.

WSJ needs to find a new audience. literally 90% of all battle shounen either fail or can keep their head just above water. Once One Piece and MHA will end in a few years literally 80% of the readers don't know what they should read anymore. Either risk and pump out 50 generic battle shounen where maybe 1-2 become a success or build-up and target a new audience as a backup plan.

>rury la dragona
I still fail to see the good in this, it's just a sol.

Still wonder why they chose to put Chainsaw man pt 2 on Mangaplus when it's gonna get a huge bump in readership once the anime's out. The magazine's gonna be in trouble once the bigger names step down and they need all the help they can get in their print magazine.

>Still wonder why they chose to put Chainsaw man pt 2 on Jump+
Because Fujimoto wanted a lax schedule

Fujimoto and Shihei Rin are joined at the hip and Rin got promoted into some upper spot at Jump+

Wsj offer lax schedule too though. Break weeks, hiatuses, lower page count. Nothing in jump+ that couldn't have been done in wsj.

WSJ doesn't let people do a triple length chapter then skip the weeks before and after it

Jump+ is a lot more flexible in general and its not like Jump gives a shit as long as they're still getting views and selling volumes and merch
Oda's complained about not having more pages to work with for certain chapters before and that's fucking One Piece, its just limits of printing a physical magazine

Wsj lets you go on a three month break after a normal length chapter, they let you off with 14 page chapters with occasional break, if you're gege you can get an indefinite one. Don't see how jump+ is more lax.

Because Jump+ is the future. WSJ as a magazine won't exist in 10 years, just as any other print medium once online took over ( japan is just 20 years behind, as with everything else ).

Jump+ allows indefinite hiatus or just random single page drops without question. Look at Ghostreaper Girl.

Shounen Jump must hire me as an idea guy

didn't read
lol umad?
