Say what you want about GOU, but the reveal of Satoko being the villain was handled pretty well from a narrative perspective
Don't get me wrong, from a plot and character perspective it was handled pretty bad and her motivations were retarded
But from a narrative perspective it was fucking genious. Not only was the reveal pretty good cinematographically, but they also gave the viewer plenty of evidence to figure it out for themselves before the reveal
>Say what you want about GOU Okay, I will. It's irredeemable shit.
Adam Walker
The twist was so bad and poorly done it put me off watching the follow up at all. I think a lot of other people felt the same since it took all the hype for Higurashi and threw it off a fucking cliff.
Andrew Torres
It was good and makes higutards seethe endlessly.
Owen Collins
I remember feeling sick at the end of Tataridamashi thinking Satoko-chan might be the culprit, even though all signs pointed to her. So it definitely hit me hard then, but man did it fall off a cliff after.
Gou made me appreciate original ending much more in all honesty.
William Turner
>Not only was the reveal pretty good cinematographically it was unironically good >also gave the viewer plenty of evidence to figure it out for themselves before the reveal it was too easy to the point people figured it out in the first arc and everyone thought it had to be red herring Gou was pretty good though, if they retconned most of the answers they could save it even if they kept Satoko as the culprit. An unaware culprit would be ideal imo. I really liked the idea of two loopers unaware of their actions influencing things in a way that make everything worse. A conflict having two sides that have good intentions is always more interesting than super psychos.
Ayden Bennett
The only entertaining thing about Gou were the mental breakdowns onthe threads and delusional Mioncucks
Luke Scott
>as it should be
John Butler
Gou was good, producers saying "this is a remake" before it aired was nice. Sotsu was 90% recap, 10% Dragon Ball and sucked.
Joshua Carter
unfortunately R07 only knows how to write super psychos, even when he tries to give the characters good intentions.
Connor Nelson
So Gou is 3/10 instead of being 1/10 because it puts the retarded reveal at the right place narratively speaking?
Parker James
The actual reveal scene might've been okay. Then it took like 8 months to finish the cliffhanger that didn't actually have anything to show. Also didn't everyone know it was Satoko by the end of Wata?
