I mean, i would love for a permanent good guy death in this manga, but there you have Mimosa, Rhades, and Lucius's own plan, i don't see any lasting bad consequences of this.
Hell, even Asta could cure her with just a touch or Demon destroyer.

Okay so I checked out the oneshot chapter and Black Clover was not as bad as people make it out to be. (I got a lot of work so I can only read a chapter of manga a day usually)
Asta's not really one-dimensional? But he is delusional but the manga says that this is a good thing basically anyways now I'm going to read the first "real chapter".
I remember watching 3 or so episodes back in the days and the anime gave me a flatter impression of Asta but then again I did read the one shot so maybe the BC guy changed a lot of stuff in the "rensai" serialization

People starting with the anime over the manga is a common mistake. Studio Clown does have some great animation here and there, but I can count those on one hand.
Tabata's art is good but evolves over time for the better like Kubo's did. Asta is a good bro and a likeable MC, but in general with BC, I like it a lot shouldn't go in expecting a game changer. Shonen is best when it's comfy junk food literature.
