The ending of episode 39 might be my favourite scene in the whole series. My disappointment was immeasurable when I read this chapter in the manga and found out this scene was anime original

It's weird reading the manga after watching the anime, I find the manga far funnier, but so many of the more serious and emotionally impactful moments in the anime aren't in the Manga at all, I guess we have Oshii to thank for that

I was wondering if UY anons had any other recs for anime around that time. Recently I watched Nobody's boy Remi, Treasure Island, Heidi and 3000 miles.
I have already watched UY and it's great, I'm fearful about the remake.
