It was nice, but some filler episodes felt a bit pointless

I liked it a lot. Felt like classic anime. Endimg wasn't as satisfying though. It was mostly judt a revenge-redemption story. It felt like his dad and brother needed more development. And the last episodes were so cheap. There were scenes they were just panning in and out an image.

Yes, good solid show and thankfully I never watched the original aired version but the later released one.

The episode was hilarious and that's rare for anime

I liked it. It didn't totally abandon Tekuza's style, though it did suffer a little from being in a more realistic style. But not much.
The animation was good, the writing was good, they didn't lose the plots. Even during Shark Week.
And it goes the opposite way of many series, with the main character Hanniku being depowered a step with every body part he gets back.

I enjoyed it overall though it had some glaring issues. The episodic nature makes many episodes feel more like pointless filler towards the end. It worked earlier but not as well later when they start building towards the conclusion. The shoestring budget in the middle also makes them worse to go through. It was cool seeing Hyakkimaru figuring out his body and dealing with some of the downsides as he got more pieces back.

I like it a lot. The only thing that I felt was a bit incomplete, was the matter of the spider-demon. She didn't get any part of the MC or what?

I see many people saying this but I don't feel like this is so true. To me it seems more like the MC had trouble adjusting to changes in him, but in long-term wasn't necessarily weaker. For instance, he got fucked up when he got his hearing back, but some episodes later, it was using his hearing that he managed to kill another demon.

It's a travesty she doesn't have more art.
