I started checking out random chapters from the manga to waste time since I thought the premise sounded dumb, but it's actually good. It's super endearing actually; the characters are all really likable. I'm probably gonna buy the manga in Japanese soon because English scanlations haven't even done half the series + I just really ended up liking what I've seen and want to read it all.
Although I saw a fan of it mention the phrase "Ranze arc" and how later volumes have different protagonists and internally I was like punching walls. I could've read 30 volumes about the OG cast just dicking around.
