The show was really good up until the end of Gugu's arc. Prison island was awful trash with the production quality dropping hard. Then it got good right in the last few episodes. I'm unsure if I want to bother with season 2 or not.

This show had one of the best first episodes I've seen in recent years. Shame the quality turned to shit in the second half.

Readers have told me it gets worse but i will probably still give it a shot although i thought the show was mostly mediocre

The second the MC starting developing morals and went the "killing and hurting people is wrong" route I knew it was over

The "worse" part is chapter 120+, the s2 content is better than prison island, not quite gugu/march level except in a few standout moments. And you can take the ending of s2 as "the end" if you want to (which is why a lot of people don't like the stuff past that point).
