It was a weird mix of some pretty good moments with some really retarded trash.
The obnoxious fat fart dial twins were one of the worst things in the entire series, up there with the snot ramen guy, the spitting alpaca man, and the drip guy from Doflamingo's crew.
I don't know why Oda has to randomly throw in completely unnecessary grossout humor like that.
And also the arc started out serious and kind of awe inspiring where they were doing the impossible but then immediately subverted that mood with a blatantly stupid joke version of marines who crawled around and made goofy hand gestures while repeatedly yelling at people that they broke an even bigger law and need to pay more money. Wasn't funny, just obnoxious.
