Personally I think the concept of a batshit insane girl using omnipotence to transcend time and space and murder her own parallel self over and over again in an attempt to live with her crush forever in an endless time-loop is a pretty unique premise

Yuno is literally the only reason anyone gives a shit about this show. And the only reason people give a shit about Yuno is because there is an extreme lack of main characters who are hardcore yandere, much less shows that basically revolve around it.

Most hardcore yandere are only found in eroge (R18 otome and BL). The trope peaked in the early 2010's and some authors stuck to it. Sadly, it didn't happen in shounen.
