Of course, but that’s the manga fanbase and same thing can be said for SxF. We’ll see how anime-only fans will take it. It’ll also depend on how much CSM adapts before the year ends. Tbh it doesn’t really get good or interesting until a little past the midway point, but we’ll see. There’s also much more hype for it meaning more expectations and chances of backlash.

This is honestly shaping up to be the first good gundam in a while. Potentially even rivals U.C since they plan to makes it a long running epic. Sure it could be just marketing talk, but the fact that Code Geass's director is working on this, Studio 1, and the prologue itself is very well received are all the things promising a new classic.
