The reason Luffy is nearly asexual is because his impulse control is nonexistent. If he had the libido of a regular man, who'd the hell stop him? He would have fathered countless children by now. One Piece would be a very different series.

His main objective is being to be the man with the most freedom in the entirety of the world, which is sort of an antithesis of being a being a family man taking care of children. Luffy is not going to end up with anyone, but is almost certain to reproduce. He's gonna be the ultimate deadbeat.

Don't see him having children with Nami, but almost every other female who is not part of his crew is fair game. Who knows? Maybe in 20 years, the One Piece world will face a crisis as a bunch of Supernovas come out of nowhere, all of them have Monkey D. as their family name, and they are absolute monsters tearing everything apart in their fight for supremacy.
