How did we go from this amazing part to the utter trainwreck that is Jojolion? What went wrong? Im fucking worried for Jojolands. Please, ffs don't give me more rokakaka or rock people, i want nothing related to Jojolion
How did we go from this amazing part to the utter trainwreck that is Jojolion? What went wrong...
>amazing part
found the american
Jojolion was amazing up until about 70% through, Araki just didn't have the ending planned out and steel ball run was way easier to finish up. basically he go in over his head. that being said I have hope that part 9 will be supreme kino.
>Jojolion was amazing up until about 70% through
>amazing
No. Mostly average, and occasionally good.
The first sign there's some hope for part 9 is if its title isn't Jojolands in the first place.
Jojolion is great.
picrel was peak jojolion
Araki forgot how to write a good story
And this peak wasn't even that high. It was just good compared to the rest of the Part.

I'm more of a Poor Tom enjoyer.
JoJo became a train wreck during Golden Wind; fucking turned Giorno into "Good Guy Dio." Couldn't even kill Diavolo once, but instead thrillions of times.
It's not that I don't like the series; it's just difficult to watch. The creator behind this franchise just shitted on himself and it became the norm now.
>it's just difficult to watch
>the creator behind this franchise
Anime only spotted.
Because Jojolion serves no purpose. The story was finished in Stone Ocean, and SBR served as a distillation of everything that he had already done. He should have ended JoJo.
JoJolion combined everything good about JoJo, so cope and seethe, user.
Amerifags are so crazy about SBR, because "muh Amurrica, muh cowboys".
Facts. Vitamin C arc was one of the best arc in JoJo history, to be frank.
Agreed. Jojolion pisses me off, but Vitamin C is one of my favourite arcs in the entire series. Actually this makes Jojolion even more annoying, it didn't deserve such a good arc and Vitamin C didn't deserve to be right in the middle of such a mess.
>JoJolion combined everything good about JoJo
That was Steel Ball Run. Part 7 was Araki's last hurrah for a series that was finished with Part 6 (that was already supposed to end with Part 3).
And even if JoJolion wasn't necessary, it could have been good. The problem is that Araki got old, and very clearly lost a lot of his creativity.
found the contrarian
>Vitamin C arc was one of the best arc in JoJo history
Better than Vanilla Ice? The World? Koichi vs Kira? Bites The Dust? Risotto vs Doppio? C-Moon/Made in Heaven? Mandom? D4C/Love Train?
Araki is the kind of writer that just writes spontaneously without much planning. That's how you got things like same type of stand and Gold Experience having powers dropped like the counter. It worked before, but it's obvious to see why this would crash and burn in Jojolion since Jojolion is supposed to be a mystery. Araki was probably on the toilet one day and went "Damn I just got the PERFECT idea for a final boss stand" and that's how you got Tooru and The Wonder of U.
Also the fact that Araki didn't even have the slightest plan for Jojolion (he usually plans the broad frame of his story, protagonist and villain) and the distance between chapters was an entire month in which he could change his mind several times, which actually happened. He probably thought that JJL would work out like DiU, but they were completely different.
