Adulthood is realizing that he’s unironically one of the best characters in the series and the victim of multiple kinds of abuse throughout the story.

I still think that he should’ve burned Konoha to the fucking ground.

Holy checked.

he really is, I genuinely have no idea why he has such a big fanbase, the guy tried to justify murdering his entire clan just because of muh supposed coup, even the kids and the elderly, by far the most psychotic attempt at retconning a villain into a good guy that I've ever witnessed

ftfy

I wouldn't be surprised if most people that hate Sasuke are just working off the anime version instead of the manga

Yeah, that would have been based
He's still a shitty character. If Kishimoto could write at all he could have been incredibly compelling, but alas.

>dude what if I mindrape my little bro to have him act like a loyal servant to Konoha and insinuate that he should kill his best friend?
What the fuck was he thinking?

WILL OF FIRE, user

I hate his entire storyline it was really stupid.

Did the anime really make him that worse?

One of the funniest criticisms of Sasuke I’ve seen is that he’s “constantly flip-flopping” in terms of his ideas and plans which basically means that he’s the only character who continues to grow and develop and realistically change his mind when faced when new information unlike 90% of other characters in the series who have like one dramatic transformation and then never think again. So many of the characters after their initial arc/introduction become completely flat and Sasuke’s legitimately one of the few characters who consistently feels human and real and can display raw emotion and coherent thought processes in response to the shit that happens to him.

Holy based dubs

He was one of the best characters until Kishimoto decided to make him a Konoha bootlicker in the ending because of muh Itachi and Nardo.

That's not called being human, it's being so mentally weak to be influenced by any other guy who tells you something.
