I think I misunderstood what it was or meant to be or something. I went into it thinking it would be a typical rapechad romance story because that's what Mei was at the start but then that more or less faded into the background and it became a very strange love-rival-of-the-week story where there is some new obstacle every time that is then forgotten or becomes inconsequential to the point that the plot still makes about as much sense skipping 20 chapters ahead.

The manga got a sequel called Citrus+, the released schedule is inconsistent though, they are going to get married but still have not fucked, also Matsuri kissed Harumi.

Sounds like a worse version of Ao Can't Study and Otona Hen.
A least Ao had actually good progression in the many story but somehow they still didn't have sex at the end at that only happened at the end of Otona Hen, but I never finished reading it, maybe I should again.
It was just so much more boring than the main story.
