but the second half suffers from the same problem as the first half - more than half the episodes are boring.

The timeskip is fucking horrible up until like the last 5 episodes.

It used to be Evangelion for children but now Rebuild of Evangelion has that role.

I thought the opposite. It was a chore to get throught the fiest seven episodes but I binged the rest

Just watch the teo movies instead, they cover all the important parts and improve the animation and climaxes.

This show is better written than is often given credit for. Rossiu is probably the single most hateable and evil anime character ever thought up.

Getterfags will act like the show is a worse Getter but GL has more nuance than any Getter show which is just "BAD THING APPEARED, WE NEED TO KILL BAD THING!" while GL's conflict stems from real issues and says something about the human condition.

I'm rewatching it right now and I don't like it as much as when I first did when I was a teenager. I can appreciate it but I'm not enjoying it that much. Maybe I'm jaded.
