Why the FUCK does the anime look like dragon ball? I'm glad I switched to the manga at the timeskip but this is so inaccurate to the story it's ridiculous. Haki is invisible, and it makes the hardened area black sometimes. That's it.

Modern anime fans don't actually know what good animation is so Toei can just slap a bunch of filters and CG on everything and call it a day. And it works because OP trends on a weekly basis when we have these back to back episodes of "good" animation. Most of those people are anime onlies and don't know how the original manga looked so they aren't going to give a shit.
With any Toei shonen, the anime and the manga are basically made for two different audiences.
