trunks gets in the time machine to tell goku that gero survived and that he created the androids and to give goku the heart medicine. but for some reason trunks didnt see fit to go back in time and eliminate gero before he even created the androids. why?

also, senzu beans are rare and not easy to grow. in the many timeskips throughout hte series, why could the gang not just get the dragon balls and wish for a mountain of senzu beans. that would be a mountains worth of zenkai boosts for goku

because saiyans want to fight

not a plot whole honestly, dragon ball time travel is convoluted as fuck but the rule is you cannot change the future by changing the past. That's the point, reminder that Trunks goes back to his time and kills cell and the androids himself, he essentially went back just to train and get strong enough to kill them.

you dont know how to have fun

name a single time they used the dragon balls to make an actually good wish, half the wishes they make are fucking retarded like when they wasted 3 wishes just getting piccolo to namek for no reason

yeah trunks really wanted to fight after all of his friends died and literally couldnt handle the androids himself

1 to return piccolo to life
1 to get him to namek
1+1=3

3rd wish:
I want the dragon balls to scatter in front of me
Infinite wishes

wow common core math really has the zoomers fucked up

most likely just brazillian math

There are several reasons why Trunks didn't do it, none of which are plotholes.
First, he had no idea there was a way to find Gero before the Androids first showed up. Remember in his time Dragon Balls were just a legend as Piccolo died when he was just a baby, thus it didn't even cross his mind to use them.
Secondly, he wanted to find out if there is a way to get rid of the androids, so that he can kill the androids in his own time.

It's not a plot hole but it's also still really stupid

they used a third wish to wish him to their location.
Retards.

>First, he had no idea there was a way to find Gero before the Androids first showed up.

Why wouldn't there be? It would certainly be worth an attempted investigation.

Even in the "present" he was difficult to find, only a rare science journal had an article with a vague address in it, and even then they had to look for it in the mountains by looking around for it. Also Trunks came from a dystopia, where fighting for survival was the only thing on their mind, not detective work.

Yeah but he was IN the past with people who were more equipped for it. So even if we give him the benefit of the doubt there's a lot of other characters, certain all seeing almost deity type characters who should have been keeping tabs on shit. Also Dragon Balls. And if Vegeta is gonna throw a hissy they can just wish him to the ass end of space.

Trunks actually wants to get strongger to defeat his androids , saving another planet doesn´t do a Shit to his own world.

They really should have thought about that before getting killed. Really it just shows their own level of ineffectiveness.

that' now what happened, retard
he had to fly over to their location, meeting and absorbing nail on the way.

>. that would be a mountains worth of zenkai boosts for goku
If Vegeta since the Cell saga hasn't told you anything it's that relying on Zenkai boosts is a bad way of training and after a certain point it has diminishing returns. You need to understand your powers to really get anywhere.

Vegeta trains with nothing but the thought of pushing his limits and ultimately getting a Zenkai boost out of it but the dude is always behind Goku because often he focuses too much on the physical aspect of it and tosses the spiritual and mental part. Probably because he's just naturally a genius at that shit given how hard he dabbed on Goku with the Yardarat stuff he learned in the Moro arc.

You forgot what happened at the start of the arc. Trunks only talked to Goku to avoid any possible future-changing events, and even if he had talked to the rest, he was already going away when they started to strategize.
