Dragon Ball Super

What is it about Dragon Ball's artstyle that allows it to stand the test of time so well? Despite beginning in 1984, going off and on for many years, passing through multiple editors with the anime dealing with many animation supervisors and prominent key animators, and switching from traditional to digital to 3D, Dragon Ball still looks like Dragon Ball.

reminder that Shitpoor is non-canon filth

Because it was designed by the genius Akira Toriyama

Yup.

Simple but effective designs.

It's simplistic, easy to replicate, and all ages friendly, and at this point recognizable world wide.

That being said, Super sucks, Toyotaro is a hack, and Toriyama ran out of ideas decades ago, and all three have been ruining the franchise since the moment that damned hairless cat showed up and Toriyama tried to leave Z's more "serious" tone and take the series back to its cartoony roots...

Reminder that SUPREMEper is canon purity.

>take the series back to its cartoony roots
Toriyama wrote an action-adventure gag manga, not a cartoon.
