the author made a big mistake with this short comic. While he made the android feel pain, he didn't wrote her as if she actually cared about the pain. Thus it feels like the "pain" is nothing more than a mild nuisance, if at all negative. The result is I don't care at all about her well being, and in the same way, sadist don't care about the sadism towards her. It's not "pain" she is feeling, it's "damage reading". Similar, but quite different.
Plus the guy, while obviously a satire on youtube electronic test channels, has absolutely zero hesitation about doing this to a thing that looks identical to a human, clearly showing sociopathic tendencies. I.e., he is just evil for the sake of being an evil character in a comic, he doesn't feel like a human being at all.
