Shitpost or not, FLCL is a combination of a superstar animation team, a deeply resonant and emotionally fulfilling unifying theme, and an aesthetic and vibe unmatched by the vast majority of anime productions. It's something special to so many people for a very clear and valid reason. Totally understand if you guys hate it for how random it might seem on the surface, but to me I will always love FLCL. Give it a rewatch sometime, It's truly a legendary anime.
