6 Episode ONA just released today, torrent up on the usual sites. Two dead threads already. What went so wrong? I honestly thought the manga was a good spinoff.
Kakegurui Twin: Already Forgotten
I dropped the series when I saw the author was a cuck yuri fag
that's the appeal
I can't speak for the whole thing yet only having gotten through Episode 2, but the fact that it is only 6 episodes, has a short lyricless opening, and skipped basically the whole first chapter, are all pretty big negatives. Also I feel lie the music isn't as good.
Honestly the anime seems lifeless as fuck. Besides all the stuff you mentioned the directing is lifeless as fuck when I actually through the main series was the opposite of this.
That's why it's so great
getting all the episodes dropped at once kills the hype, plus some of that psycho aspect that gave it its appeal was missing, I never felt like the characters were risking everything.
>batchflix
>6 eps
>only mary is interesting
Gee I wonder why
No reason to even check out
It was already considered a reddit series and netlix series dumps always kill the hype because most of this anime is too fucking boring to binge anyway
Mary my queen......
I wish she was real
The fate of most bingeshit anime releases
Why the fuck is it only six episodes? I feel like I watched a porno with not cum shot
We know, Ririka
I don't watch batched shit. No time.
The manga spin off is better than the main Kakegurui series but a Netflix adaptation was never going to do shit to start
>What went so wrong
No jabami?
>they just summarize the first gamble in three minutes in CalArts style
no dignity
Pretty sure even the original Kakegurui anime was Netflix jailed
Because it's Sherlock (BBC) levels of schlock for coomers. There is no redeeming trait in the Kakegurui series, unfortunately. It's the same for most anime adaptations but the source material is nothing special
And another thread dead
Maybe next time they will adapt some Kakegurui SoL
Was carried by art the plot is boring. This guy should make hentai
The basic problem is Netflix batch releases. If this aired weekly, there'd be more discussion overall (assuming it would be subbed as well).
