Ima, Soko ni Iru Boku

Absolute kino.
Ngl I almost cry with the end.
I think I will re-watch it.
What's your favorite Anime from this era?

Yeah it was a hidden gem that took everyone I knew by surprise. Many got filtered hard; I liked to recommend them Narutaru as a light hearted alternative once that was out. Daichi is criminally underrated.

I mean it's pre-2000 so you have the usual mid to late 90's suspects. But sticking with Daichi, Jubei-chan was great.

Why the fuck did sara stay in that hellhole with her rapebaby?

I dunno.
Maybe she thought that she couldn't simply abandon the baby in the future nor go back with him?

Well if she wanted to raise the child it makes more sense to do it in the present day versus a hellhole billions of years in the future with no water. Unless her parents are evil they would help her raise the child as well.

Agreed, I guess she liked living in that hidden town.

Bad writing.

Or maybe she changed too much as a person after all she's been through that the thought of returning home was too alien at that point. Also bearing the shame of being raped, getting knocked up and giving birth to a rape baby probably had something to do with along with the fact that she couldn't abandon the village kids.

I think you are right.
I forgot the other kids.
She must have felt like she could help care for them.

>i changed too much so I'd better let all my loved ones think I'm dead and live in doubt, guilt and grief because of it
TRASH. WRITING.

I don't remember much of that show aside from a lot of suffering happening in it, maybe I should rewatch

So kino of the 90s?

Still lacking any argumentative and analytical skill, I see.

I can't go back to yesterday, because I was a different person then.

I loved it.Had a really nostalgic fell to it and the writting was suprisingly good even for the side characters.Tried to have a discussion about it ever since i saw it in 2016,but unfortunatly 99% of Any Forums hasnt seen it and from the remaining 1% 99% get filtered hard as evidence ITT.

Sure... if you think shallow child tortureporn is kino

i just started watching this and can't help but notice that it cribs pretty heavily from future boy conan

Not really I would say it is more mature than made in abyss, it does have a lot of shocking stuff but it is to reflect stuff that actually happen irl and to give you a feeling of nostalgia for your normal life, instead of pure wish fulfillment that Isekai turned into.
It's good to see a thread for it.

is it better than the far too gay paladin?

The what?

faraway paladin

>Earth billions of years in the future
>Tokyo is basically still in the state it was in during the early 2000s just a little rusty
Okay then.
