Just read pic related. The ending felt very sudden, was it cancelled in the middle of the publication?

Wdym,the ending was already foreshadowed,no?
Nah, like majority of manga artists within the last decade, they seem to not know how to end their storylines properly.
you must have IQ of at least 100 and live outside of South America to understand the ending
it was a shitfeast kek, i still remember when it released
tfw genius with over nine th9000usand iqs living in 3rd world country
my guess is that hiramoto just got bored of it and wanted to start something else, thus the shitty conclusion and we didn't get the wet shirt contest that everyone expected, moreover he dragged the school atethic tournament shit for too long. Still a masterpiece tho
>A lying piece of shit MC gets his comeuppance after being a lying piece of shit to an innocent girl because he couldn't be honest with himself and admit that he loved the crazy girl
Do self inserters really?
..and be japanese
I feel pain
Ok but what's with the immediate switch to Chiyo becoming the new Mari, and the useless 4 pages "epilogue"? That really felt rushed
The only thing rushed there was Mari going away. The end was perfect, if you wanted a romcom you could focus on Andre's story. Chiyo got hurt and she's coping by becoming Mari. The boys got back to their starting point, since most of them, besides Andre, never changed.
Mari was hot but she was always meant to be a dyke queen.
The ending does feel sudden, but as other people said, nobody developed and therefore didn't warrant a good ending
>self inserters
Only an author can self-insert. C'mon, how does any of this count as a discussion when a lot of people just randomly type words without any consideration for the actual meaning. Fucking hell, man.
>Only an author can self-insert.
Wat?
Gakuto's dilemma never got resolved.
What dilemma? Both girls told him to fuck off since he was an indecisive faggot who got too cocky.
There are some people that enjoy reading manga and decide to write one on their own for some fun. Most of this results in mediocrity, but some manage to flourish a good opus.
Some of this have enough fortitude to become actual artists, professional or not. Most end up writing one or a couple of things at maximum and to be never heard of again.
Within the remaining, the ones that keep producing, you start to notice a certain level of quality. Either it is genuinely good storytelling, or captivating art, or the simple ability to make the reader feel good (or bad, or angry, or any emotion!) when consuming their work. Here you find your seasonal successes, your shounen of the year, your random_jap_name manga prize and etc.
But you notice some outliers. Some can make a very enchanting story which dives deep into a certain aspect of life that you can't help but follow it. Some have become such experts with their pen that you make their latest spread as your desktop wallpaper. And some write the character that you really would want to be, if only you could. Here lay some legends, some genre-changing authors, and the extremely commercially successful. All different, but none forgotten.
And then there is Hiramoto Akira, whose work makes absolute sense and is beautiful a priori, and if you don't understand it, it's because you live in South America, apparently!
The ending was based
that's the point retard
it was never resolved because Gakuto was too much of a pussy to resolve it
