I see nothing wrong here. The moment you make a race of creatures relatable, ie, capable of being more than horrible monstrosities, you end up with people trying to speak against their justified genocide. By making Gobos rape monsters, genociding them doesn't just stop being bad, it becomes a moral imperative.
The Goblin Slayer tabletop roleplaying game just got released in English a week or two ago, so not only can you cheer on Goblin Slayer in the show, you can make him proud by genociding the goblins yourself.
