>One Punch Man >webcomic concludes the Monster Association arc almost flawlessly >manga concludes the same arc in such a mediocre way after excessively long fights and dragged out power-ups
Murata didn’t even let Bang discipline Garou, what the fuck is this shit. Now Garou assumes there’s someone stronger than Saitama and won’t ever realize he wanted to be a hero all along.
I still don’t understand if these changes were made by ONE or by Murata. I think ONE is still to blame if it’s the latter, because he didn’t bother holding Murata’s leash and prevent him from vomiting out this shit.
Leo Scott
ah… bump
Ethan Stewart
put him out of his misery, fuCK
Ayden Rogers
Murata is too afraid of making the S class unsympathetic, so he removed the scene where they job to garou and removed the scene where they try to kill him.
Jaxson Rogers
ok so the question here which route will the anime follow? one or murata? also why couldn't the entirety of season 2 be animated like its own episode 3?
I really don't get why they changed it so drastically and even started winging it. Up until the last few chapters it could still have feasibly been an adaptation, even with the excessive use of God and Blast. It won't totally off the rails and then in the end they don't even have the resolution. Are they going to have Garou be a retarded recurring rival character now?
Daniel Peterson
If I had to guess, it seems Murate is trying to make it more "shounen-like" for the masses. All the heroism shit that wasn't in the webcomic and the other heroes not being just punching bags or selfish retards. There is no other explanation as to why One would give the approval for such dogshit changes to the story
Brody Watson
Murata, definitely. The Japanese audience eat up the things he puts out, even if all post-redraw Phoenix man content drags on forever and has excruciatingly absurd power creep.
There's a screencap where ONE admits that all the story changes in the manga are done by Murata. Any replies you get about "Story by ONE" are failed memes and factually incorrect.
Robert Perry
The webcomic's MA arc is so well written, holy.
If only the humanity could collectively agree to ignore the mess that was the manga's version and just stay with this.
Daniel Nguyen
I read the screenshot you’re talking about. Still, ONE should’ve done something about it, because the fact he let Murata carry on with the awful writing means he either knows it sells copies or he approves of the changes.
Isaiah Jackson
ONE doesn't even work anymore. I doubt he takes anything Murata adds into consideration.
Parker Young
We need to learn and Master Garou's time reversal martial arts technique.
Dominic Nguyen
I thought he focuses more on Mob Psycho 100, it’s clear that series is his most beloved one.
Grayson Morris
The idea of them trying to adapt that unbelievable clusterfuck of an arc into an anime season or five is legitimately extremely amusing.
Blake Johnson
THE BRIGHT SIDE
Now that this arc has ended ONE might start publishing the webcomic again.
Isaiah Young
Yeah, Mob is clearly his baby. He's just enjoying the fat checks from OPM.
Leo Lewis
>phoenix man fight takes an entire season
Benjamin Richardson
Honestly, I think ONE may be just trying to destroy the monster he created. He'll let Murata catch up until the manga gets cancelled because there is no more webcomic to adapt and then, and only then, he'll continue the webcomic.
Justin Edwards
One Punch man was never good
Jordan Diaz
I thought his fight would never end. When he revived the two ninja bozos that flashy flash killed, I believed this dumb fight would last the ENTIRE arc.
Christopher Bell
Mob's been over for like 5 years.
Jaxon Morris
Season 3 on the way
Julian Bennett
To be fair, mob is just better than one punch. Also, ONE can never draw the manga for one punch, since there is already one, like he did for mob.
