The arc was a 8/10 at worst before the redraws started piling in, after which there were many missteps and a few good moments.
Lots of things were revealed too early. Too much about God, too much about Blast and his buddies, the limits of Saitama's powers etc. The inclusion of God and Blast also made this bloated arc even longer and even more convoluted.
Garou's character was assassinated the moment his shell broke at the surface, almost as if they started writing him as a completely different character. Working alongside heroes and making himself look like a hero while still spouting shit about absolute evil was complete trash.
The OG chapter 164 had Garou complete his metamorphosis into a submissive whore, and that was too much even for ONE and friends, so they decided to remake the chapter and shove Awakened Garou in there to make the webcomic fans shut up.
Final few chapters are all about jingling keys to appease the feat babies reading One Punch Man, and any consequences or development that might've happened is erased through lazy time travel.
In the final chapter, nothing happens. No development of Garou, Saitama wasn't seen beating Garou's ass, and Garou left without learning a single goddamn thing.
One of the greatest climaxes in nipponese comics was adapted into one of the worst climaxes in nipponese comics.
Taking everything that's happened in the arc into consideration, I can only give it a 2/10 at most, because the climax simply invalidated everything that came before it.
I am taking at least a 6-month break from this manga, and I won't be interacting with the community surrounding it for that time. Kisses and hugs to you all.
