It's not a "which one do you like more" kind of question. It's two unrelated surveys, and fairly reliable one. Russians and the Mainland Chinese think with enough funding with their foreign agitprop they could instill a negative view towards the United States all around the world. However, when push comes to shove, most countries would rather side with the US than those two.
You don't have to like everybody in America, just the ones in charge of the country.
