I've gotten to Skypia, episode 164. It's had it moments but honestly I just don't really care about what is going on most of the time. Pretty much all of the villains have been one-note, and the main characters haven't gotten much development either beyond their introductions. The world is cool but it just feels meandering, which I guess is the point, but I was hoping it would get a little more focused.
Is there a point where One Piece really starts to pick up? Or should I just drop it at this point
the next arc and a half after skypiea is decent I think it lasts up until around episode 310-320 give or take, ,skipping all filler too of course
Easton Hill
If you don't like Water 7 (which is the next arc) you should drop it

>"episode 164 >>watching one piece read the manga
Christian Barnes
The manga is solid for something 1000+ chapters long. The anime just needs to waste your time to fill the time slot. Don't be an anime fag.
Jayden Hughes
To be fair. till mid Fishman island the Anime actually had alot of flair. I have no idea what happened at toei arround that time exactly but since then every filler was absolute shit, we never have any extra moments with crew interactions but instead extra fighting scenes with fodder or just single panels panned out to a minute and every single second needs to have the same shitty music we had for 10+ years now when before you just could have some sea noises or silence. Revolting really.
James Baker
If one piece hasn't grabbed you yet, give it till water 7, then drop it. It's not some revolutionary series, and I say that as someone who's been a massive OPfag since 2004.
No, the anime is infamously terrible. Dicksuckers will tell you that the manga is better but they are wrong.
Luis Allen
If you got that far and still don't like it, just stop. It's not for you
John Evans
Get to Enies Lobby. If you don't like that drop it.
Ryder Perry
Wait till Water 7, and Enies Lobby. Imo best arcs pre timeskip
Noah Diaz
Shonen is not meant for people that have grown past the age of 18.
Ayden Richardson
I agree with this, a lot of the cooler power and fights start here and it have a great emotional cap for 2 characters.
Liam Foster
Drop it. You're not welcome in this fanbase.
Elijah Watson
It gets better at Wano.
Michael Myers
why do we get multiple "I JUST WATCHED THE FIRST 669 EPISODES OF ONE PIECE, WHEN DOES IT GET GOOD" every single fucking day? holy fuck, just don't watch it
