Basically my thoughts are, if Carrot was going to stay then why not just have her accept now? Sure we could build to a climax of her not joining but then why? Also as others have pointed out, she’s fifteen. I get the idea behind making her the leader, the whole concept that she’s seen more of the world than most of the minks, that she’s pretty capable as far as their race goes (even if she isn’t the strongest) and that she has a good heart and would make for a good leader in that regard. But right now it just makes sense to me that Carrot will join with kind of the same intentions that people thought Momo would have, a sort of “I’m going to go see more of the world and when I come back I’ll totally be the leader then” mentality. She’s a bit inexperienced now but after Laugh Tale I’m pretty sure that the fans will be much more comfortable with her leading

I'm happy with Momo looking for Zoro instead. Zoro is not much on the emotional side

How does that make any sense? Putting bounties on pirates makes sense because there’s always the chance that some super strong bounty hunter is out there somewhere and a civilian might be spurred into attacking one anyway since the general narrative is that they’re the bad guys already. But what civilian that’s not associated with pirates already is going to risk attacking a marine officer and potentially getting on the WH’s shitlist if someone finds out? May as well just become a pirate at that point.
