Is the author's current series with the retro gamer gyaru any good? I tried reading it but the ESL translation of the first chapter combined with shitty quality made me tap out.

It's about an elementary school girl who's in love with her classmate and thinks she's mature but all of her knowledge of love and being mature comes from shit like TV dramas. Everyone else acts like a regular kid so they all think she's weird.

Yeah, Himeno-chan a pretty fun little series. At times it treads into finding humor from kids being a little precocious and other times being more naive than they realize the former of which I normally don't care for but the author does a pretty good job of keeping it silly and cute instead of cringey like when people bring up embarrassing stories from when you were little. It didn't run too long and the chapters aren't too heavy so it'll be a quick read
Yeah I've been having a fun time reading pico pico. Doesn't have the same cute little charm of a puppy love story but it does lean heavily into the game parody stuff that we only got little touches with Himeno plus I'm a sucker for gyarus. Alice was a good wing-woman, I'll give her that much
