For years, people have been telling this is one of the greatest stories ever. It's not bad, but watching the anime was underwhelming and most fans agreed on that. So I got the manga and read all the parts the anime adapted, and besides the anime having some weak directing and lack of pantyshots, it's the same thing. When does it turn in the masterpiece that everyone loves?
So when does it get good?
Okay faggot, I'm going to explain this just once: sometimes you won't like stuff other people like. Maybe you build up expectations and it didn't live up to that, maybe is just not cup of tea, but asking people "why I don't like popular thing" is the most retarded question you can create a thread for.
I also read the manga and it's boring.
First, I'm not a faggot. Secondly, I never said I'm disliking it, yes, I had a high expectation because it was highly recommended, but this beginning is very generic so I was thinking that maybe someone would tell me when does the story show it's true potential.
I said the same thing years ago and biscuitfags assumed that I was trolling.
It's cringy chuunitrash, and people only pretended to like it to fit in.
You may just not like it. But for a writer celebrated for his character interactions/endings you're obviously not gonna see everything it has to offer when 3/4s of the characters haven't appeared.
>OP
>not a faggot
[X] doubt
Thank you for a reasonable answer. I'll continue to see more characters and how this could improve the plot.
I dropped it halfway, it was very boring.
A reasonable point would be when one of the older knights gets introduced which is a couple episodes from now IIRC.
I was reading the manga to compare it to the anime, then ended up just binging it to the end. Maybe it's just not your thing.
it's about growing up and abandoning chuuni, you retarded speedreader.
idk where the anime is at, but you don't find Hangetsu giving Yuuhei his powers, and will to make life seem fun to kids interesting then maybe is not for you. It is a slow growth, where you get to know and love the characters themselves, so there is no one one moment I can point to say is where thing gets good.
Great character writing, themes and growth. Basically the usual Mizukami gold
Chuuni is kino you newfag
>abandoning the best mindset and "le growing up" to a generic npc
Cringe.

>I’m not a faggot
>reading a manga not for its own merits but as some sort of post mortem experiment comparing panels to how it’s portrayed in an anime
>letting a manga’s perceived popularity influence your enjoyment
You’re a little bit of a faggot.
It's not even abandoning chuuni, the MC is pretty chuuni even in his best moments. He pulls all these poses and shit. Nagumo is like 40 but still chuuni. Growing up is the point but it doesn't have to mean "stop having fun"
Mizukami is immensely overrated. I would only consider Sengoku Youko as the only good thing he has ever done.
You have to wait until you reach the arc where Lucifer finishes baking the Biscuit Hammers, then it's sugoi desu ne.
If you took Any Forums's opinions at face value there are no good manga at all. Every time one gets an anime you have people crawling out of the woodwork to shit on the manga. If you'd been hearing about it for years why didn't you read it then instead of waiting for the anime? Do you think that maybe the anime's garbage tainted your perception of the manga?
Spirit Circle was great.
Read it or don't read it, slapnuts, but don't waste a thread with this stupid shit.
