The OVA was nice and atmospheric, and I liked the investigator woman. I just wish it was longer.
The TV anime was kind of hit-or-miss: 50% episodes with a good gothic drama hook that progressed the plot or developed the main cast, 50% episodes that fell a bit flat, and then an amazing twist ending I didn't see coming even though it was foreshadowed pretty blatantly.

Oh yeah, and I almost forgot how great the OST is. One of those rare cases where it's not annoying that they repeat the same songs constantly because they're so catchy.
