There is still murky shit going on, but like if you want to establish that your heroes are going to succeed without perpetuating the sins of their fathers, then they need to do so, and having Daida go so far as to marry Miranjo is about 'purifying' their father's misdeeds as much as it is about anything else.
Contrast this with the Underworld and Bo kingdoms, where unresolved generational conflicts, even if ostensibly resolved now, have contributed to continued strife and a mere putting-aside of the greater problems with the world.

Way way way too much crying in this show I bet half of the overall screentime is devoted to shots of Bojji crying and then a cut to Kage also crying and saying "Bojji!" and then a cut back to Bojji with a more determined face but still full of tears. This happens at least once in every single episode and sometimes even more than once.
