Hard disagree. Nagai is brilliant when he really tries and decent on average. Also, while Black Jack is excellent, I wouldn’t put it in a top 5 Dezaki list. Unless you’re specifically a fan of Tezuka, there’s not too much BJ did that Oniisama e didn’t already do, and do with much more depth to boot thanks to it not needing to be an episodic series.

Oda is challenging its placement with the last 50 or so chapters but I didn’t disown the series during the abysmal fishman island so there still some way to go before I remove it. Don’t even know what I’d replace it with, nothing new really stands out and there’s no fun in replacing it with something I’ve already used

When it comes to general ideas I think Nagai is fine. His paneling is pretty solid as well. However, I cannot for the life of me stand his art style nor his dialogue. It's been my experience that adaptations of his manga are always better than the original.
Anyways, Oniisama e... is my 3rd favorite Dezaki. Black Jack is my 2nd favorite specifically because I like Black Jack as a character so much. Dezaki's take on the Black Jack series is also just far better experience than the manga for me as I'm not much of a Tezuka fan in the first place.

its not that I dont watch a lot its just that I end up dropping 90% of what I watch. I'm just too picky I guess. I wish more anime catered to my tastes. I just gravitate towards shows/films with a lot of style and cynicism but the most stylish anime often tend to be obnoxiously optimistic.
