For daughter anime, the dad fucking his adoptive daughter is usually the ending, the conclusion (like in your image related). Maybe the audience will never even see it if the anime doesn't get enough seasons to handle all the source material.

What do you mean, OP? The Yotsuba&! Anime did pretty well and is regarded by most as one of the best anime adaptations ever. I couldn't imagine living in a timeline where this anime doesn't exist.
