Everyone will tell you to play the VN. Do it if you have time. It's a lot of dialogue. Watch the anime if you want a quick immersion. Start with the route that piques your interest the most, the order doesn't really matter. Chronologically released routes isn't a bad choice, though, bur bear in mind that 2006 Deen adaptation is nothing like UBW or Heaven's Feel. You either like it or dislike it. Zero is overrated, but you have Gilgamesh and Saber and a better MC than Shiro. Avoid gachashit at all cost.
