The characters and situations seem the same.
I like the artstyle less but it's good enough.
I don't know what to think about the old cards going away, but who knows I just started it.

The only complain is the new artstyle, but as I said it's still good enough.

Did not like it at all. After everything about the cards being living creatures and her friends Sakura didn't seem very sad about them dying in episode 1 of Clear Card. Her relationship with Syaoran was worse than in in the original. The colors are so bright and washed out, remember when Sakura had darker hair and darker skin than Syaoran and Tomoyo? I legit turned down the brightness on my tv. I was so disappointed.

The relationship with the cards and Syaron is what it's worrying me, at the end of Sealed Card they were clearly a couple and now they barely interact :(

It's not nearly as good. The issues with it aren't new, but they weren't really flaws in the original show. There was always a lot of not much happening, and most of the characters were pretty blandly nice, and so on. But the original show just executes it all so well that it works. Like the characters harmlessly bouncing off one another is just gentle fun rather than boring filler.

This is actually a plot point, and Season 1 ends before it gets resolved.
