That episode of Katanagatari is a weird one— It’s one of my least favourite episodes overall, but the execution of it is still perfect and I wouldn’t change a thing about it.

Joe 2 was most likely the Joe that Dezaki always wanted to make. Joe 1 was very rough despite its overall quality, whereas Joe 2 ironed most of those flaws out (mostly because Dezaki had long since solidified his style by that point).

I like Revue Starlight, but I wish it was more even more theatrical and less moe. It would have been amazing if they made it a full blown musical show rather than just confining the musical numbers to the duels.

Outstanding taste.
End of Eva is a 10, but I personally feel like NGE is more of a 9. EoE preserves the good of NGE and brings the series to a perfect conclusion while removing all the fluff and production problems that plagued the series.
