Yes. Unless a person has seriously harmed, stolen, or hurt another person, they deserve happiness. A slut deserves as much happiness as a virgin, vice versa. Happiness is a universal right, need and desire.

No one is guaranteed happiness, if you believe that you are naive or stupid, and you will always be disappointed with life.

That's probably better. I just personally believe and wish, that everyone should be able to enjoy life, feel happiness, joy, excitement, and such, to be able to go through hard times but find light at the end of it and to not bring others down or try to destroy other's happiness. I agree that nobody is guaranteed happiness as that's something you must fight and work for and to find. I just find it weird when others say that other people shouldn't be happy because of non-issue circumstances or because they themselves are sad, angry or jealous.

There's also the very arguable fact that being happy, or it's pursuit, in excess can be bad and damaging just as much as any other emotion.
