Because retards think a vague premise like being trapped in a fortified area surrounded by some kind of monster trying to kill you is somehow unique to Attack on Titan.

Pretty much the same team, similar style, very vaguely similar premise, although both were just following popular trope

It was made by WIT at a time when hype over a SnK season 2 announcement was over the roof, so the nickname just stuck due to vague similarities

It's also made by WIT studio and has a Sawano soundtrack

I don't know about that. SnK still has great moments, even if the whole ends up being a little weird. Habanero was short and that was an advantage honestly, and it still stumbled.
One of the strongest first episodes I remember seeing, though.
