Why does he have so much plot armor?

I'm at episode 72 and this motherfucker hasn't taken a single loss that meant anything in the course of the whole show.
Hell, while Reinhard lost Kircheis and the imperial military keeps jobbing, Yang just keeps pulling impossible wins out of his ass.

>he doesn't know
Just keep watching

He doesn't pull tactics out of his ass, he destroys Reinhard with logic and facts

user...

Right, but it destroys the suspense to know that "Oh, Yang's gonna win this one, and he's not even going to lose an admiral, or that bloodthirsty fuck Schönkopf" every fucking time.
Not to mention, it makes him way less humanized than Reinhard and his crew, who actually take losses and have bad things happen to them.
Yeah, sure, the Free Planets Alliance get shit on left and right, but nobody likes those guys, and Yang's gang are the ones we're supposed to give any amount of a shit about, and they have plot armor thicker than the side plates of a Baneblade.

Assuming it's not bait, just listen to this guy

My husband Paul is never wrong.

Nice timing OP

He got mogged by Kircheis in their clash early on.

Sure, I guess, but that's one person, and it wasn't due to any character fault of Yang's, it was just a consequence of politicians being awful in a way nobody could really do anything about. She was the one to put herself out there, too, for what she believed in.

Never before have I hated someone so much while they were so right.

Alright, I was about to quit the show tbqh, but assuming you guys aren't taking me on a ruse cruise, I'll give it a few more episodes.

Because of the new series?

I guess, but in the end that wasn't of any great consequence

>I'll give it a few more episodes
youre already on fucking episode 72 just wait until the end you fucking idiot

Yang looks so cute there.

>Because of the new series?
doesn't exist

Fuck you, I was taught to cut my losses rather than fall for the sunk-cost fallacy, and I'm not having fun watching Yang just suck any tension out of the show.

Cutest man in the galaxy.

He gets shot by a literalwho in episode 82 and dies.

He's the main problem I have with this show

Frederica is a lucky woman

Yeah, him, and Schönkopf just never fucking dying despite throwing himself into ridiculous amounts of danger again and again

Man, that sounds like an anticlimax. Hopefully the show can move past the formula of "Empire tries to progress plot, Yang stubbornly refuses"

Nah Yang's adopted son becomes the new mary sue

I didn't think he could get to be even more of one, but I guess here we are. Shame, it's for the most part a really fucking good show, if you look past these small but important things.

Absolutely. Though she's a real cutie too!

Do they look good in the new show?
