My assumtion was that for Fighter/Cleric/Thief to work you must go with something like fighter - church acolyte - holy executioner, in other words advance with the hybrid classes instead of advancing separately in the multiple class progressions.
Things like this is probably the reason why builds like the Succulent one aren't working well in NW.
