There's definitely some biological imperatives at play (e.g. your sexuality itself is something you're born with, so certain traits commonly viewed as attractive probably were beaten into us over time like how a male peacocks feathers determine success in finding mates) but one of the tricky things about humans is our level of intelligence means we're capable of ignoring inherent impulses and developing a far wider range of individual preferences and aversions than other animals. A cat will nearly always eat meat, but what human diets are incredibly diverse - as just one example.
Culture definitely plays a big role in shaping what we all find attractive, you can observe that in how consensus on whats popular changes, or even just how on this board almost all posters are into cartoon women to an intense degree while the average man might like animated smut but would prefer live action stuff.
