what if i said this in real life

It depends on where you say it but I imagine most people would accept it.

what about unconditionally leaving

It also depends on whether or not you have a mansion.

You'd be called a louse.

Unless you're gigachad anime bruce wayne you're just going to come off as an autist.

That was Angel trying to bullshit her way into Roger's life. He probably doesn't have that rule "In Reality".

this show was retarded

CHIAKI-D

>angel tries to seduce roger multiple times only to fail and have him go for dorothy instead
>tries to end the world as a result
Really gets the almonds going.

Why else did she make Dorothy a cold unfeeling robot?

>cold unfeeling
Only to anyone who doesn't know her personally, it's a facade she uses to get on rogers nerves which he begins to see through as time goes on.

I felt it was more that even under Angel's structuring of their "reality" that gave her an advantage the truth as to who Dorothy is came through.

This is what I interpret her sudden rivival without her "brain" implies.
Angel could not stop Dorothy from being the Dorothy that Roger loves, even as a machine. I don't think "real" Dorothy that exists outside of the metropolis console is an android, that's just a metaphor for what angel thinks of her as.

That would make you andrew tate

Dorothy still speaks in her same monotone voice in the last scene of the last episode and still bears her android appearance as the "real dorothy" had a more lively appearance. Which also begs the question, if it's all fiction doesn't the whole story in general seem a little too elaborate for a story adapted television show? Maybe all this did happen in the real world and we're just seeing it from angels warped perspective as you said.

I get the sense that elements of the setting such as androids and possibly even Mechadeus are based on things in their "reality" but the memory wipe and Paradigm city are a result of Angel's simulation.

The show doesn't really hide anything about the whole idea that Dorothy's father invented super weapons and there was a war and Rodger fought in it. These plot elements are not aspects of Angel's simulation, but rather serve to give some context to the robot fights, even though the mechadeus still have a stand in for god metaphors.

So maybe IRL Dorothy is also an android, but I think that just makes things worse in that Angel is even more beaten the fuck out than I thought.

Since we're talking kooky stuff.

As others have said it's clear that something happened to humanity with big ass robots fighting monsters which pushed humanity to near or outright extinction. Now for some reason the information that survived such cataclysm keeps being run over and over in what I'm guessing is trying to salvage something in that data that is wanted or needed, hence the emphasis on memories.

Amidst this simulation however Dorothy has emerged as an anomaly of sorts, she bears many thematic and symbolic points that make it clear that her existence is big shit.

Her memory can operate big fau
She has been piloting the big O more than once
Her presence bounced back with the dead megadeus in the underground city
She can operate without a data drive, function without her "memories" while remaining the same person if you will.

On its own it's like cools whatever, but when you add them all it's clear that she's got something going on.

If you take Dorothy out of the story it's kind of easy to see that Roger and angel got together, then the foreign powers and the conflict between black, red and white megadeus eventually and inevitably destroys the city causing a reboot

That just makes me wonder then, who is angel in real life? Is she the same person she portrays herself in the story or is it just a matter of self inserting and trying to make herself look better because her real life is so boring as a writer/director or whatever. Maybe they did lose their memories in the real world and angels story is her trying to giver herself closure of some sort or maybe to the people of paradigm who may be watching. She basically fills in the gaps with her own fiction.

Ignoring season 2 I like to imagine the equivalent to WW3 happened and venus was used as a super weapon to send everything back to the stone age more or less. Dr. wayneright and soldano were responsible for constructing these weapons of mass destruction, dorothy probably died in the midst of all this they both became so disgusted with what became of humanity being dependent on megadeus' that they made an ultimate super weapon to end it all and start over on a clean slate ala big venus. Wayneright and soldano still retained their memories but dumbed down what they knew out of fear of history repeating itself, the only remainder of any of that is dorothy herself. Dr. wayneright used his and soldanos knowledge to bring her back in the form of an android with the most life like appearance possible also making her the most advanced one to date. Whatever technology was used to create the megadeus' was scaled down to make dorothy which is why she seems to malfunction but also be compatible with her larger siblings.

You can say whatever you want, the SWAT team is still gonna ventilate you

>Said Mechadeus twice
God I'm retarded MEGADEUS

Levithan, Behemoth and Ziz was all defeated by god. Where as, this depicts humanity being defeated by them with Lucifer at the top.

This right here is the sign that it's not the truth. There was probably a war, but it probably didn't wipe humanity out. That's Angel's fanfiction.
