It's going to take a long time if the author intend to rewrite more stuff.
For vol 4, author said he want to rewrite some small bit from the WN version (Rose's mother part) and also add some original content for the latter half of the volume (Returning to japan part).
That resulted in the following :
Vol 1 -> 2 = 6 months
Vol 2 -> 3 = 5 months
Vol 3 -> 4 = 18 months
In the afterword, he also complained he had a hard time writing the new original bit since he can't read reader suggestion like when he was writing the WN.
